With the rapid development of automatic control technology, computer technology and communication technology, Access Control System is called upon to function with more,many of the existing access control system can no longer meet the needs of people's lives. So it is of great economic and market value, and great reality significance that design an intelligent Access Control System with rapid response, powerful functions, and easy expansion. This thesis introduces an embedded Access Control System which is designed to meet the application needs, whose biggest feature is that it combines the advantages of the embedded technology and RFID technology.In this thesis, after analyzing the Access Control System project requirements, the general design of the Access Control System is made, which is include power modules, embedded controller modules and RFID Module.In power modules,a charging circuit is specially designed for the storage battery in order to meet the Access Control System the requirements of uninterrupted work, which has automatic charging function and automatic cutting function. Embedded Access Controller Module adopts S3C2410, which is based on the ARM920T microprocessor core, and other chips of are chose appropriately, such as SDRAM chip and FLASH chip. Then the schematic circuit diagram are designed and discussed in details. S3C2410 support 8/16/32-bit data bus.Because this design adoptd 32, the data transfer rate of Access Controller is the largest and the response time is the shortest. In RFID modul, the design of the reader circuit is introduced in detail.On the basis of the schematic circuit diagram, PCB's placement and routing has been finished, then the product is manufactured.Finally setting up the ADS1.2 debugging platform, the hardware of embedded Access Control System is debugged using the traditional debugging methods and the ADS1.2 debugging method, and the debugging report is given.After debugging and testing, this embedded Access Control system work well and stably, and meets the project requirements. Now it has been delivered to user.
