| The expansion of telephone network and customer scope leads to more intense market competition of the telecommunication industry and higher requirement from the clients for telecommunication service. However, there are a lot of problems in the existing telecommunication network management system. For example, the reports are lost so frequently in the current system that the engineers have to repeat the complicated job to work out them, which brings much trouble to system maintaining and statistical analyzing. This present system is a newly-developed intelligent management system that can enhance the quality of the telecommunication service and enable the engineers to observe the operation status of the switchboard in real time. It has more powerful processing capability comparing with the current system used in Switching Department of Net Work Operation Center of Shanghai Telecom, since it can offer the processing reports from the various switchboards, and support real-time query of the database, router, server, telephone traffic, which makes the intelligent management on telecom network realized.Based on the requirements and design ideas of the system, the system structure and the implementation of programming were stated step by step in the thesis. The whole procedure of implementation of the network system was then demonstrated. In the end, the functions of the system was illustrated by some examples. Concretely speaking, the process of recollecting the telephone-traffic reports aimed at losing data was established firstly, according to the reality of the background of Shanghai telecom local switching network and the demand for the statistics of the telephone traffic. In the new flow, the complex manual operation in the old system was substituted by the automation program. Secondly, using SYBASE database, the C/S mode based maintaining interface and the W/S mode based query interface of the statements were created. Moreover, according to the requirements of maintaining and system safety, the detection function of the IP nodes, the control ports and the database in the network was developed. At the end of the thesis, some source programs using in the system development were provided for reference.The success of the development of this system will give powerful support for Shanghai Telecom to the effective implementation of the"warm-heartedness project"including facing the market, quick response to the front, and serving for customers. |
