Abstract/Summary:
The products, which are made in China such as foods and toys, faced serious problems in European and American Markets on 2007 due to quality. However, we can't track, trace and callback faked products effectively, and so those industries were punished sternly, got commerce bulwark and derogated Chinese brands. In fact, Radio Frequency Identify Technology can be used in these industries and with the help of RFID public services infrastructure, the services including Track & Trace & Callback will be provided easily to dynamic track item-level products information.RFID Public Services Infrastructure is a service-oriented platform which provides functions to exchange products'information on internet based on RFID technology. It's mainly used to track and trace dynamic data about item-level products among open-loop and heterogeneous management systems. The relative technologies include Registration Administration of Electronic Code and its resolve, Product's data searching and tracking Service, Product's data exchange schema and Track & Trace of products'data flows. This paper carefully performs research on technologies of RFID Public Services Infrastructures, gives detailed analysis of logical architecture, application framework and internal roles and functions, and then proposes a lightweight model to track and trace RFID products'information. The roles in our infrastructures include: Product Naming Resolver server, Product Trace server, Product Info server and Public Services'Broker. We also research mechanism and process about tracking and tracing of dynamic products'data, implement a prototype of Product trace server based on analysis in relative design requirements and function modules. Finally we demo a supply-chain solution which shows how to track & trace RFID products'information in open-loop applications and cross-heterogeneous RFID information systems.
