3G (3rd Generation) technique, the 3rd generation mobile communication technique, means a new generation mobile communication system, which combines wireless communication and the internet and some multi-media communication. It is equipped with the ability to compromise 2nd generation mobile communication system, expand system volume, and support multi-media services as well as transmission service of high-speed data. Compared with mobile communication systems of the first two generations, 3G is characterized with the advantage to ensure data transmission at a higher speed. Therefore, 3G business has its main novel in mobile data service, that is, it can provide diverse services about mobile internet and mobile multi-media. Simultaneously, WAP, J2ME, J2EE etc. experienced a dramatic improvement and they are gradually applied in mobile value-added applications and mobile e-business. This paper aims to create a mobile business-traveling system customized for travelers, such that the civil airline booking service and hotel booking service can be provided real-time.In this thesis, the state of the art and development trend of traveling E-commerce about home and overseas are researched firstly. Some constructing techniques of wireless infrastructures are compared. A novel framework of mobile business traveling system that employs J2ME and J2EE is proposed; this framework is adapted to 3G mobile basic communicating protocols, with the target to implement a mobile–travel system that is oriented to user consumption.The focus of this thesis is the design of global schema of system, system design pattern, the design of system data communication and system implementation. Instead of using traditional J2EE 4- hierarchy architecture, this paper introduces data lasting hierarchy, and the 5-hierarchy architecture of J2EE that is based on Hibernate frame. System design pattern takes the integration of global MVC mode (Model-View-Controller) and local M-V mode, which separates expression and logic, with clear structures. Main functions of system be consisted of: e-ticket service, hotel booking service, business order management, member management, help online, etc. According to the running environment of the system, this paper gives details of design and implementation for the mobile user node, the Web service node, and the central service node.Finally the empirical results of the system are presented,and the pressure performance tests and analysis are conducted on the system.
