Binocular stereo vision is a kind of computer vision. This paper combines the binocular stereo vision technology, aiming at digital image, after researching the theory of camera calibration, image process, feature extraction, match and the reconstruction of corner points, has designed a non-contact measurement system of square object.This paper has learned the theory of camera calibration deeply. Using the method of plane calibration witch has the advantage of simple operation and higher accuracy to realize the perameter of this system. Through researching the image process algorithm, I have designed a processing flow to suit this system. In this stage detach the object and background completely, after this we have deleted the noise, notable the useful information and got a binary image. When the object has many lines, after division there will have many disorderly and confused points on the surface of object; at the same time, because of light conditions, physical qualification of camera and so on, there will be some non-object points on the background after image subtractions. We call these points the interference points. If we do not eliminate these interference points, there will extract many no useful points when we do feature extraction. So I have designed a de-noising template to eliminate the interference points in the stage of image preprocess. In the feature extraction stage I bring up a conception of special corner which I definite it as the points that surrounding the corner of object. Using the method of block filter the Harris corners to obtain the special corners. Avoiding matching the entire Harris corners only match the special corners so the matching time has been reduced and the precision has been improved. Base on analysis and research the match algorithms and restrictions to draw up a matching method of multi-restriction. At last I have learned many measurement method of binocular stereo vision technology deeply, combine the camera calibration parameters use the method of spatial line's vertical mid-point to restore the three-dimensional coordinates of matched special corners thereby complete the measurement of object.The system is designed and achieved by VC + +6.0 and Matlab,The experimental results show that the whole system can satisfy the requirement of measurement.
