Following the development of Unified Communications, SIP has became hot spots of the current study. SIP, as the main communication control protocol, a growing number of manufacturers and organizations have benefited from its simplicity and flexibility. IP Call Center as an indispensable part of Unified Communications, SIP has brought many new bright spot for its use. Base on the researching of Unified Communication system, this paper concluded that SIP middleware is the new direction of Unified Communication development. We named it VSAPI.The middleware's open interfaces and distributed applications in the SIP forms are great innovative. The application of VSAPI in IP Call Center is an example to explain the development framework. This middleware integrated four necessary parts in IP Call Center: call control, status notification, equipment control and subscription; its distributed design provides a large-scale network capacity. In the system design we proposed virtual system platforms, in order that the designs have more efficient portability to ensure its integration in various of circumstances.After the development complete of this middleware. We develop a simple DEMO interface to display its specific function applications. In system test, we tested its access capacity and control capabilities, compared to the original program, this upgrade program have a good improvement. At the end of the paper, we prospected the application mode of this SIP middleware architecture in Unified Communications environment, which reflects the value of this research.
