Since the Three-Dimensional (3D) digital information measurement technology, which integrates machine, electronic, optics and computer technology together, is one of quick digital surface data collection scheme with enough precision, it is because it can transferred surface information of an object into digital signals quickly, so that it can be used on manufacturing and machining fields directly. For the requiring about surface digital 3D surface reconstruction in reverse engineering, the coded structure-light 3D optical measuring system and its calibration technology are studied.Firstly, the introduction about 3D measurement approaches with function analysis of these approaches is given. Based on the analysis and vision and optical triangulation principle, eliminate a structure light vision measurement method. Contributions of the thesis include the following:(1)Based on Gray Code-Phase Shifting method, a novel structure light measurement scheme is presented, also, the mathematic model of the measurement process and some basic theorem are given. (2) An experiment bed of the presented surface information collection system is established. (3) The calibration for the experiment system is implemented. (4) Some experiment results with error analysis are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented system. (5) For improving the measurement precision, images filtering and binarization algorithm is studied.The basis works can be taken a reference for further relative study topics.
