The "Research and realization of data stream management system in energy-saving transformer manufacture process based on STREAM" is an important project of Shanghai Science and Technology Committee, which sponsors this thesis. The thesis is one of the key technical researches in this important project.Energy-saving transformer manufacture system is an industrial manufacture system under the control of computers, including cutting out subsystem, iron-coiling subsystem, anneal subsystem, winding-coiling subsystem, assembling subsystem and testing subsystem. It will have great significance for the stability of the whole system if the datas are processed fast and managed efficiently. The traditional database management system (DBMS) aims to process the permanent and stable datas, which is efficient and successful for the application of business affairs. However the DBMS isn't suitable for the application of industry manufacture system, since the data streams in energy-saving transformer manufacture system have the continous, real time, infinite and high-speed characteristics. So this thesis puts forward the data stream management system to manage the data streams in the system efficiently and in real time.The data stream management system in energy-saving transformer manufacture process based on STREAM designed and realized in this thesis has the function of inspecting and controlling data streams, collecting data streams and managing data streams. Based on the hardware and software design of stream collecting system, stream inspecting system and stream management system, this thesis makes out a project of collecting and inspecting data streams from the manufacture process and collects the local data with Kingview 6.51 and SQL 2000. The users can collect and inspect the real time data and scan the databases of each subsystem under SQL Server, which supplies Streams and Relations for the data management system in energy-saving manufacture process based on STREAM.Based on the realization of inspecting, controlling and collecting data streams, the thesis implements the data stream management in energy-saving transformer manufacture process. It builds the environment of the data stream management in energy-saving transformer manufacture process based on STREAM, and transfers the data collected from the local management system into the data streams which can be obtained and managed by the data stream management system. The iron-coiling subsystem is used to validate the functions in this DSMS such as real time and continous query, multi-query, real time stream inspecting and stream filtering.Compared with DBMS, DSMS has the ability to process the data stream faster, more efficiently, and sustains the real time continous queries. The research and realization of data stream management system in energy-saving transformer manufacture system not only improves the traditional manufacturing method, but also helps to improve the real time inspecting of transformer manufacture process.
