Design And Implementation Of Student Management Information Systems

Student' s information management is a key to manage a school which involve student enrollment, it tends to adopt computer information technology to manage student information which will provides exact student information in time and raise the management' s work efficiency. A high-quality Student Management Information System can offer prompt and correct students' information to the school administrator, and improve the management level.Aiming at the situation of our school at present, that every organ and institute has not been effectively integrated and information can not circulation and well shared. Here this text aims at developing a new Student Management Information System which accommodates the new situation of our school. This information management system not only merges isolated students' administrative system and every organ into a whole system, but also integrates the information of administrative system of recruitment, employment, education and finance department. And besides, it feeds back the students' comprehensive information to the employer and family via the internet.According to the demand of student' s information management of our school, the school' s organization structure and student management flow is analyzed and the primal documents related to student information management are gathered. The goal and main function of student management information system for our school is set down and a sound project plan is defined.The software structure of this system is based on compound architecture of C/S , the operating system of the database server is Win2000 Server, the database system is SQL Server 2000.The system can run on the TCP/IP network and client software runs on Windows platform which involves integrated functions for our school. The developing instrument of the software is delphi.This systematic function is relatively strong, and simple to operate. The data can be online input and shared distributed. By using this management system, students can be conveniently managed. This realizes the corresponding functions of management and inquiry function, and offers a strong support for statistics, analysis and making policy of the school.
