NETLAB includes Client site, Control site and Server site which based on double C/S structure (Client/Server).Double C/S structure is easy for all experiment devices to connect with server via network. All these experiments are based on physical equipments. NETLAB tries to simulate the traditional laboratory environment This project is aiming to design and implement a module that makes NETLAB more secure and stable. Since current system consists of client site, control site, and server site, there are three main parts created for evaluating the security and stability of each site, then the precaution and solution to the possibly existing problems and corresponding design specification will be proposed. In addition, it will provide an introduction to the design and development for the sub experiments of DC Servo system. There are six chapters in this thesis. Chapter 1 provides the background and project overview, as well as the definition of network laboratory, an introduction towards domestic and overseas development tendency of network laboratory and relative researches. An introduction to topological structure of NETLAB (double C/S structure), the composition of system's hardware and the software structure are provided in chapter 2. Chapter 3 proposes the design for both client site and control site with high security and stability. Chapter 4 gives out the design for the server site with high security and stability, including the scheme for the security and stability of database server and experiment server. Chapter 5 provides a detailed design and development for the experiment of DC servo system, including the design and implementation of control site and client site. Chapter 6 gives the conclusions.
