Due to the limited space and a large mount of electronic facilities, the serious problem of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) exists in the vehicle communication system. This problem will exert a harmful influence on the normal operation of communication system, therefore, the analysis, the modeling, the simulation and the prediction of the co-site interference in between the equipments in vehicle communication system are extremely important.First of all, based on three operating models: fixed-frequency, Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DS) and frequency-hopping (FH), this article analyzed the characteristic of the co-site interference and established the calculation model of the co-site interference security bandwidth respectively with introducing a number of relevant tests, including the test methods of the coupling interference bandwidth and the transceiver's characteristic curve. However, because the calculation model of the co-site interference security bandwidth has a special request for the frequency spectrum obtained from testing, the processing methods of the testing data is studied next, especially the calculation of de-noising and enveloping. At last, combined with the work mentioned above, a software is compiled for calculating the co-site interference security bandwidth with stimulation, several effective techniques, measures and methods for suppressing the co-site interference are also proposed, which provide some engineering guidance on the EMC design of the vehicle communication system.
