Shipping is an important link in Container Terminal management. It is mainly to solve that how to determine container location, become container loading sequence , reduce the transfer operations in terminal, enhance terminal devices operate convenience and improve the efficiency of transport ships, when loading and discharging containers in different ports, following shipping principles and undertaking stability and strength. Loading Problem is actually a complex combination and optimization problems, simplified to be question of sequence position, that is, loading sequence of containership problems. With the continuous upgrading of the container ship and the increasing number of shipping container, the problem become more and more difficult.Loading sequence of containership is NP-complete problems, the paper finished complex operation and restraint, made the problem Simplified to painting stowage profiles, locations of yard, marking stowage plans, dividing crane sequence in view of the marking stowage, shipping. The problem will be simplified and expressed with abstract mathematical symbols. The paper build mathematical model about loading sequence of containership. Those factors about stability, reducing the number of container transfers and operability are decomposed into evaluating strategies. These strategies are classified according to PRI. In particular stability problem is decompounded into single row or cell for searching an optimal solution.Genetic algorithms acquire notable success for non-linear optimization problem of many engineering applications field in recent years. The paper tried to genetic algorithm applied to complex engineering problems. The paper assumes that ship model by the actual situation, uses Java language in the Eclipse development environment to accomplish the algorithms. The paper identified genetic algorithm parameters about groups large and small, crossover probability, mutation probability and algebra and suited for the scope in loading sequence of containership model. The experimental results show that programs meet the ship stowage requirements, and optimize the loading sequence of containership.Integrated solution is raised about container loading sequence by building model, algorithm design and algorithm implementation in the paper. A detailed assessment strategies help to resolve the current question that there is only a solution known whether it works . Experimental data shows that the algorithm is feasible and effective.
