Current standards of EMC test and commonly test sites for EMC test are introduced first in this paper, then the performance evaluate test method and principle for anechoic chamber such as Normalized Site Attenuation (NSA) test and Field Uniformity (FU) test are illuminated and the generally test program of different evaluate tests for EMC sites is analyzed. Based on latest CISPR 16-1-4, a new evaluate method for anechoic chamber, SVSWR is introduced. To develop a SVSWR test system, the test principle, instruments requirements and test procedure are analyzed. The software part of SVSWR test system is used as a test module in the EMC Site Evaluate Test Software, which can be used for evaluating the performance of all kinds of EMC Test Sits. Besides, to demonstrate that the SVSWT test system developed in this paper can work normally and the data obtained from this system are precise, SVSWR test is performed in a FAR which is belonged to National Institute of Metrology.The main work of this paper is to research and develop a test evaluate system for the performance of EMC site, which have completed functions as below:1. Save information of customer and site by database management. All test data which are saved in the database can be obtained by search requirements and plotted into a curve.2. Provide a standard and universal instrument driver for measurement module with DDLs, which can be adapted to different types and manufacturers of instruments. Manage instrument by instrument library files.3. Embed the different test function in the different DLLs and managed by test library files. Only access selected test library file when to perform a evaluate testing. It is generalized for all kinds of test for EMC site and also be adapt for possible test in the future.4. Great UI design and friendly suggestive function make users easily operate test system and enhance the working efficiency.
