As the grid is becoming larger and larger,the electric power utility has more and more computer systems and applications to complete both business and engineering functions.These applications were developed separately in different time, without unified programming.In addition to the increasing mass amount of power system data, it is difficult to share power system information resource effectively.That results in Information Island in power enterprise.In order to get rid of this awkward predicament,it is effective to develop a integrative data platform that integrates electric power informations.Data is the centre of Information System.There is few changes in data entity type used by an enterprise. We can apply a best way to express the logical structure of some data assembles.That is a steady Data Model.CIM is the model which is referred to by data flow programming for data platform.CIM is an abstract model that represents all the major objects in an electric utility enterprise typically involved in utility operations.As a standard model for information exchange in power system,CIM can be used to integrate in any field.By using this standard model,data exchange in different application systems will be easy.It is necessary to extend CIM due to the CIM doesn't include all of the power system entities and new equipments are sometimes applied in power system.So, after analysing the data of existing applications in Henan power dispatching control center,excitation system and speed governor are modeled, DCLineSegment Class and ACLinesegment Class are modified and power system resource asset is extended, to meet the project's needs. Then, defining each attribute's name,meaning,format,source and the departments to use it.Finally,the paper analyses the data flow with Use-case Diagram and Sequence Diagram and makes out the statistic of data flux.
