Integrated optics emerges with the need of optical communication and the optical information process during the development of the laser technology. It solve the problem is realizing the integrating and micro of optical information process system. In practical application, the optical-electrical component fabrication technique is very complex and the separated optical devices are not convenient to apply. Polymer has excellent optical-electrical property and is easy to molding .The application of polymer simplified the fabrication technique of optical componentsIn this thesis, we focused on researching the direct-writing waveguide technique and the preparation of the high molecular weight of fluorinated polyimide. According to property of the polymer solution,we designed the equipment for direct-writing and found the best direct-writing technique. The direct-writing waveguide transmit loss tested.Firstly the combination principle and fabrication technique of fluorinated polyimide were discussed. At the same time, the tested results of fluorinated polyimide property show that it has superior property for application in the optical communication field.Secondly, through the polymer solution property and the direct-writing experience result, we find the best preparation technique of polymer solutionThirdly, according to fluorinated polyimide molding technique, the direct-writing equipment controlled by the CAD/CAM was designed .Analyzing the relative between the direct-writing condition and the profile of waveguides.The last, testing the transmit loss of the waveguide made by fluorinated polyimide, and the lowest loss is up to 0.11dB/cm, this result meet to industrial demand.The researched results of the project make a basement for rapidly fabrication the optical-electrical components and bring out the important practical value.
