In optical photoelectron technology, residual reflectivity is an important technical parameter, and plays a vital role in the performance of the device. So a simple and efficient, high-precision measurement method will be of great significance for the actual production and scientific research.Continuous light reflectometer is a simple and efficient method of measuring the reflectivity, get a large number of applications in the production and research. In practical application, we often need to detect the extremely low reflectivity, but detecting the ultra-low residual reflectivity is very difficult. For this, the ultra-low residual reflectivity measurement methods and principles of analysis and research is done, and the application of research results produced the ultra-low residual reflectometer. The main results are as follows:(1) On the basis of detailed analysis of reflectivity measurement, the principle and overall program of the practical ultra-low residual reflectivity measurement system, the innovative application of double-fiber associate device in the system, and deeply analyzed the key technology.(2) Designed the ultra-low residual reflectivity measurement system, detailed the method and procedure of the module design. Designed automatic power control circuit and automatic temperature control circuit in LD module, weak signal detection circuit, automatic range control circuit and related control software in optical power detection module. As a practical and intelligent measuring instruments, designed a automation software.(3) Maked the ultra-low residual reflectivity measurement system in line with requirements, and its performance is tested, The results show that the system meets the design specifications.
