With the development and extensively application of microwave data link,stable function, simple structure, low cost microwave data link experimental system becomes important teaching equipments for college. This paper presents the design methodology, measured performances of 1GHz microwave data link system which based on RF transistor. The system includes RF front-end circuit and digital code and decode circuit. RF oscillator, RF modulator, DCR receiver and other circuits compose of RF front end circuits; code and decode circuit is Manchester-like circuit, designed by simple digital chips and can self-adapt to the various baud rate. FSK modulate and demodulate are used as the system main communication method. This paper discussed those circuits and theirs test results thoroughly. Transistor equal circuit was built through PSpice. The key circuit was simulated by this equal circuit. The actual circuit was tested through frequency spectrum instrument and wave oscillator, the results fit well with the simulate results. At last, by use of communication software, data communication was performed. The system can send 19200 band rate data and the error bit rate is 0.05%.The research work in this paper establishes stability groundwork for various teaching experiment and design of other well function circuits based on this teaching experiment system.
