Access Network (AN), one of the main trends in current telecommunication network, is the most complicated network system to manage in the view of network management. With the development of fiber communication technology, fiber integrated access devices will share the most portion of current AN devices market. In SDH Integrated Service Transmission Network, the V5 and a variety of different service access, especially the broad band service, will be required in the Service Node Interface (SNI) and the User Network Interface (UNI) respectively. And powerful network management that can provide Q3 interface will also be required.Q3 interface, the standard interface between TMN and AN, is presented to implement the TMN-based network management, with complicated realization method. SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), as it named, is a simple protocol used broadly.In this dissertation, we mainly discuss the SNMP development of Management Information Model of Q3 for SDH Integrated Service Transmission Network which is presented by Melit Co., Ltd.As background knowledge, the basic concept of SDH Integrated Service Transmission Network and private communication network will be discussed first. Then, the thesis gives a brief overview of network platform of Melit SDH Integrated Service Transmission Network, analyses the structure, function and protocol of V5 interface, as well as the V5 interface presented by Melit Co., Ltd. After that, the thesis particularly probes into the architecture of TMN (Telecommunication Management Network), related protocol and MIB. On one hand, a general model of Manager-Agent-Backend is put forward on the base of TMN Q3 interface. On the other hand, combined with the practical consideration model of V5 interface for Melit, another SNMP method is presented, without changing the Management Information Model of Q3. After that, the implement method and special function including my work will be discussed in detail. After the realization discussion, a presentation is made on the testing from the aspects of testing environment and testing content.The conclusion about this whole thesis is at the end of the paper, which includes the strongpoint and shortcoming of the solution and points out the reformative way. |
