The Design And Realization Of Curriculum And Score Management System Based On Struts & Hibernate

Universities are important for breeding talents for the country; theinformationization and standardization of universities` education are also important.Educationa l affairs ma nagement is the basement of modern education ma nagement,and curriculum and score ma nagement is the key point of educationa l affairma nagements. Many senior high vocationa l college s are upgraded from technicalsecondary schools, their education ma nagement and teachers` office automationfell behind those top universities, so, a new curriculum and score ma nagementsystem is needed.This system is designed for the educationa l affairs ma nagement reality in TheLiaoyuan Branch of Jilin Normal University. It is a sub-system of the universityeducationa l affairs ma nagement system; most of its users are students, teachers andteaching assista nts. Such a system offered the functions like checking up the scoresand curriculums, up loads the scores as well as teaching ma nagements. Thechecking and load ing will never limited by time and space, this is an up grade ofthe educationa l affairs ma nagement comparing with the hand-ma naging in the past,and served a comfortable environment for the ma nagers. Also, the system realizedconcentrated ma nagement and separated handling with information sharing to thecurriculum and score information in both campus net and internet environment. Theeducationa l ma nagement's digita l, intelligent and comprehensive developments arethe future of this system, and the educationa l affairs ma nagement would bemodernized under this system as the busy workload is removed and the workingeffect is increased, the information processing is also accurate and fast.This essay made a deep research to the curriculum and score's ma nagementsystem, pointed out the basic theory and realizing method to the curriculum andscore ma nagement system. This system is a Web system based on the Struts structureunder MVC mode, the Hibernate techniq ue is used while developing the durablela yer. The advantages of JAVA andMYSQL made my developing effective, and the applying system build by visua lsoftware tools takes friend ly page, easy-to-ha ndle, swift-and-fast as its characters; atthe same time, such a system is reliable , transpla ntable, and easy to protect.Especia lly, the design of J2EE WEB solution which based on Struts+Hibernate isuseable in the reality. The J2EE stage is widely used in the development of WEBapplica tion. The development is a complex and tough job, the whole project couldbe dela yed and the quality of the code could be affected if the designer started towrite the code directly, so the Framework served a structure and a software packagefor the WEB applica tion, it made such a developing fast and effective. Jakarta-Struts is an open source code offered by Apache software organization, it offeredthe Model-View-Controller(MVC) framework for WEB applica tion, it is the MVCrealiza tion based on the JSP Model2 developing mode. Jakarta-Struts also offeredframework and groupware to the MVC mode WEB applica tion; it could clarify theprogram structure and made the developing effective, this techniq ue takes animportant position during the process of WEB developing. Excellent and durablesupporting to the object found the basic technical tools for the development.Hibernate is an open source framework which is able to build the object torelationa l database mapping( O/R Mapping) by the uses of DAO mode. It packagesthe JDBC in lightweight, so the JAVA progra mmers could hold an object-facingidea to operate the relationa l database (Fig 3), and realize the durable technique.Hibernate switches between Java program and database. The Java programmerdefines the O/R mapping first, and uses the object-facing method to programwithout switching SQL, as all the switches are processed by Hibernate. The uses ofHibernate released the workload comparing with hand operating JDBC and SQL.This system uses Struts and Hibernate to process the page logic and make the objectdurable. The developing did not use JSP+Servlet only, but combined Struts andHibernate, which is for clarifying the structure and simplifying the development.The whole system removed the workload and made the data ma naging scientificand reasonable.At last, this design could direct the future work; I hope a large educationa laffairs management system could be build by my system, and service for theeducationa l affairs management of senior high vocationa l college s as an qualifieddata ma naging stage.
