Web services are self-describing, self-contained, modular application accessible over Internet. They can be used by programs in order to accomplish a particular task. This services enhance current web functionality by altering its nature from document to service oriented. Its objective is to connect and communicate between different persons, different organizations and different companies, to provide an integrated interface to develop new service applications more rapidly with lower cost.To benefit from them, an efficient discovery mechanism for locating andselecting the appropriate Web Services is required. The nowadays Web Service uses syntax level Web Service description language, Because of lack of semantic information and relying keyword matching, it led to low correct query percentage, and hard to describe correctly of user's needs. A prerequisite to this, however, is the emergence and evolution of the Semantic Web, which provides the infrastructure for the semantic interoperability of Web Services. Web Services will be augmented with rich formal descriptions of their capabilities, such that they can be utilized by applications or other services without human assistance. In my thesis, based on domain ontology research, I proposed one kind of web service finding mechanism based on semantic. First constructed the ontology model of touring field,, it could express the semantic information of web service by the relations of all the concepts which couldn't express by text description. In the finding process of service, we could combine all of these information with the information of web service concretely. In addition, this thesis proposes an approach to compute the similarity between semantic Web Services based on the specific features of Web Services. In the Web Services interface matching, a semantic based interface matching algorithm is proposed; in the matching of describable information in Web Services, a Wordnet-based similarity algorithm is proposed.
