According to the demand of the policy our country and the require of production, coalmine must be equipped with the signal centralism block system, namely the track transportmonitoring and control system. Profiting from the research results of existing track transportmonitoring and control system, this paper has proposed and completed the research and thedesign of mine pit track transport monitoring and control system based on programmablelogical controller (PLC)and single chip processor.Firstly the composition and the function of mine pit track transport monitoring andcontrol system are explained in the paper. And the basic concept and the external equipmentare introduced. The comparisons between the existing mine pit track transport monitoring andcontrol system are made, and the track transport monitoring and control system based on PLCand ingle chip processor is proposed.This system is a network composed of the personal computer(PC), the bureau, thesub-bureau, the communication processor and the extension as well as the railroad switch, thesemaphore and lots of sensors and so on which connect with RS-232/RS-485.The design of hardware and software of the bureau and the sub-bureau are mainlyexplained in the paper.In the hardware design of communication processor, the design of the host module, theconnection module, the watchdog timer (WDT) module, the keyboard and display module, thepower source module has completed. The flow diagrams of the various modules and theassembly language procedure are provided in the software design.The design of hardware modules and the assembly language procedure are completed inthe design of the extension, which is similar to the design of communication processor.At last the anti-jamming design of system is proposed, including the anti-jammingdesign of hardware and software.This system possesses the advantages that belongs to the supervisory control systembased on PLC only and that belongs to the supervisory control system based on single chipprocessor only. The RS-485 bus from the bureau to the sub-bureau, from the communicationprocessor to the extension in the system reaches all the control area of the track transportation.The system has many advantages such as steady performance, reliable transmitting data, lowerprice and flexible expansibility, etc. The whole system may be applied to the tracktransportation monitoring of large or middle or the small coal mine.It has a very bigdeveloping potential and a widespread prospect in application...
