The development of science and technology puts forward higher and higher request to the intelligent instruments. Field bus technology puts the microprocessor into traditional instrument that are of function of measurement and control, making it have figure calculating and digital communication capacity , and become the network node that can undertake measuring , controlling and communication task independently . Compared with DCS system, the field bus control system (FCS) has realized all digital two-way communication from controlling station to the field equipments, having realized that complete "dispersing and controlling ", so FCS is the developing direction of the automatic control system and is becoming one of the focuses studied in the automatic control system field in recent years.CAN bus is one kind of the field bus , which is of simple structure , real-time character , high EMC ability, low cost and high flexibility a, so it becomes the only field bus with international standard at present.This thesis has analyzed and studied CAN Field bus technology and has developed the intelligent actuator based on CAN bus, choosing Free scale's HCS12 family controller MC9S12DJ128 with bus interface of CAN. The design was written around hardware and software design mainly to go on, as well as the EMC design and the low consumption design have been taken into consideration from the views of the hardware and software.This thesis divides into eight parts altogether.First part is introduction, describing the researching situation, the meaning, and researching approach of the subject, and summarized the relevant documents and materials.Second part makes detailed introduction and analyses the development trend of CAN bus in term of usage of CAN bus network.The third part is the key point of the thesis with the fourth part, they do the detailed argumentation from hardware and software design to the whole system including microcontroller module, power module, CAN communication module , display module , valve location measuring and converting module and motor drive module etc. hardware circuit design and software programming.The fifth part and the sixth part introduce the systematic anti-interference measures from the hardware and software two respects respectively.The seventh part describes methods and measure of the low consumption design from the hardware and software.The eighth part draws the conclusion and prospects next coming researching work.
