A general software platform of missile-embedded computer testing system isstudied and designed to improve the developing efficiency of the missile-embeddedcomputer testing software according to the testing requirement.This paper starts from the problems to be solved and research actuality,introduces the theory of testing system, virtual instrument, PXI bus system, DSP andLabWindows/CVI briefly. Secondly, it discusses the designing idea, system frame andthe hardware/software structure. In terms of the upper test-controlling software anddowner embedding software of the platform, the paper takes the analysis as a wholefrom the requirement, including of the functions, interfaces and data. And then, thepaper nails down the protocols of the communication inside the software system.Combining with the testing requirements of the missile-embedded computer, thegeneral software platform for the missile-embedded computer testing system iscarried out by adopting the developing environment of CCS and LabWindows/CVIand the user-defined testing script. The platform can accomplish the interfacedebugging, performance detecting, and examination validation with the PXI bustesting system. It has the functions of the testing script configuration, auto testing, testreport outputting, and so on. In the end, the results of system testing and validationare given, and the general characteristic of the platform to the kinds of UUTs isanalyses.
