The electric actuator based on Ethernet is a new actuator which can realize long-distance and scattered control. It has the advantages of being intelligent, compact and low cost. Thus has the broad application prospect in fields such as water conservation, electric power and modern agriculture etc.The main task of this paper is to design the electric actuator based on Ethernet and do research on relevant theories. The main jobs are as followed:Firstly, analyze the structure and working principle of the electric actuator. Select brushless motor as actuating motor and design the corresponding controller that with and without the position sensor. Realize the effective controls and functions such as motor stating, motor reversing, motor braking and speed regulating, speed negative feedback, the electric current limit and malfunction alarm etc. Emphasize the driving principals of brushless motor and the choice of the peripheral component parameters.Secondly, design and realize the electric actuator controlling system which takes the SUMSUNG ARM7 MCU S3C44B0X as core. Transplant the operating systemμC/OS-II to S3C44b0X in order to improve the multi-task processing and real-time processing ability. Construct the intelligent actuating system using D/A, photoelectrical encoder, motor controller, ARM MCU, LCD, touch panel etc. Undertake the system software design in the IDE ADS and illustrate the application of PID algorithm in the actuator speed regulating. Finally, research and realize the Ethernet function of the electric actuator. Give the Ethernet control system software and hardware system realization plan through discussing theμC/OS-II embedded operating system and TCP/IP protocol. At the same time, discuss the software about the RTL8019 drive and the TCP/IP protocol realization on ARM.
