Research And Development On Object-Oriented Clothing Design & Grading System

Computer aided design&grading system is one part in clothing CAD, and it can manifest the CAD characteristics. It is important for clothing industry to improve production efficiency. The system may enable the design to have the science and the accuracy regardless of the how complex design all changes.At first, this article summarized the technical background of clothing CAD system and the current situation of studies about it both at home and abroad, then simply introduced the significance of research.The article in detail discussed the design of parameter curves in clothing CAD. The curves in clothing CAD ,which having been analyzed , had"gentle"characters, in other words ,they can described conics,lines in addition to free curves and be stored and processed by computer with facility .Having summarized the algorithms of curves(such as Bézier curve,B-Spline) proposed, the article deduced the coefficient matrix of the cubic NURBS curve, then proposed the algorithm for subsection cubic NUBRS curve .The algorithm was the basic theory in clothing CAD system, and can settle many problems of CAD, such as position judgment between point and curve,parameter curves intersection,self–intersection , and so on .The article simply summarized the OOP(Object Oriented Process),OOA(Object Orient Analysis) and UML(Unified Modeling Language) which described the OOP and OOA. After analyzing the use case diagram and founding the model of CAD system as well as sequence diagram, with the guidance of OOP and OOA, the article emphasized the design of frame of design&grading system and the basic class in addition to its interfaces, which were described by UML.The programming used the Visual Studio which Microsoft Corporation developed to improve the efficiency and the quality using the Extreme Programming Method. Some typical module on aided design&grading were discussed in detail in the article, and the format of input and output was simply introduced.The article finally simply discussed the deficiency and the points which would be improved, and established the foundation for follow-up study in the future.
