With the rapid development of laser technology and photoelectroncomponent technology, as well as the further requirement on the distanceand quality of communication, the optical communication technology israpidly developed with unique merit. It is a kind of critical technology inspace optical communication that the accurate pointing, acquisition andtracking of the space beam (APT: Acquisition Pointing Tracking).Firstly, the development actuality of space optical communication andfine tracking servo system are summarized, and then the constitute andworking principle of APT system are analyzed. Based on the research andanalysis of fine tracking system, the implement method of controlling ofbeam precisely, by which adopting the FSM (Fast Steering Mirror) systemdriven by PZT is put forward. According to the requirement of servoplatform for fine tracking system, the static control precision, control range,resonance frequency, load, bandwidth of FSM are analyzed in details.Finally the suitable platform and drive method have been fixed. Theapplication of FSM on fast servo is validated by experiment. The results ofexperiment indicate that the FSM satisfied the demand of system.
