The two-dimensional electron multiplication is in a important technology of photoelectricity image formation domain. The Microchannel Plate is a ideal component of two-dimensional electron multiplication technology extremely. The present situation and the development of the Microchannel Plate are summarized in this article.Microsphere Plate as a new type of electron multiplier, has many merits compared with Microchannel Plate and other merits, it has low resolution, low price and wide applications.In this paper, on the base of studying relative theory on the formation of MSP, we did many experiments of fabricating MSE including fabricating of glass dust, grading technology of glass-bead and MSP sinter technology. We also did some experiments on the formation of second electron emission layer and surface electrodes. In the end, we fabricated a length of 25-mm diameter MSP which can Meets the application demands.According to the phenomena of the experiment, we carried out analyses and draw conclusions. Mean while, we put forward some suggestions of improvement.
