With popularization of the computer application and rapid development of theworldwide information network technology, equipment requires higher quality of powersupply, thus digital control and intelligentized supervision of UPS have become necessary development trend. Realization of modularization, intelligence, greenness and high efficiency is thedevelopment direction of UPS systems.With the fast development of information technology, digital CVCF-PWM inverters become possible. The performance of the on-line UPS is the best among all kinds of UPS.First of all, the actualities and development direction of UPS is introduced by the paper and the intelligentized supervision technology is discussed.Secondly, The paper introduces a applied design of simple phase and high frequency on line UPS, It includes rectifier circuit, boost Power Factor Correct circuit, inverter based on sine wave Pulse-Width Modulation, design of charge and discharge circuit for storage cell, This paper describes development of UPS, and discuss the problems that should be considered in practical design.Thirdly, The software design of the system is described. The sequence, the interruption and some important flowcharts are analyzed and their block diagrams are provided in details.At the end of the dissertation, the simulation results of the system are provided with Oread Pspice. R concludes the simulation waves of PFC circuit ,Assistant power, charge and discharge circuit for storage cell,lock phase circuit, push-pull inverter based on sine wave Pulse-Width Modulation and control circuit.The result of simulation show that theory analysis is correct. And it can meet the demand of UPS of middle and small power.
