The Study And Realization Of "English-Chinese-Mongolian Electronic Dictionary"

This article mainly introduced the realization method of"English-Chinese-Mongolian Electronic Dictionary" and related researchtechnology. "English-Chinese-Mongolia Electronic Dictionary" can realizethe query function from one kind of language to anther kind of languagerestricted in English, Chinese and Mongolian under the Windows. The ScreenCapture function can query and translate English and Chinese word under theposition of cursor on time. Simultaneously the dictionary providesmaintenance function, including revision, increase and deletion.During building the "English-Chinese-Mongolian Electronic Dictionary"we use the ACCESS database. Considering that the kinds of paper'sEnglish-Chinese-Mongolian Dictionary is very limited, in addition, weoriented the user to be college student, middle student and elementary schoolstudent, so we use the "English-Chinese-Mongolian Student PracticalDictionary" as the foundation of the database. After established theEnglish-Chinese-Mongolian databases, we use program to build the other twodatabases, Chinese-English-Mongolian database and Mongolian-English-Chinese database."English-Chinese-Mongolian Electronic Dictionary" provided theinquiring function of manual inputting. So long as the users input theinquiring word to input field. The users get word's correlation informationthrough the English index inquiring, Chinese index inquiring and Mongolianindex inquiring by manual inputting. "English-Chinese-Mongolian ElectronicDictionary" also provided the inquiring function of non-manual inputting,namely the users needn't to input English word, and just place the mouse on English or Chinese word we want to inquire, the program will capture theword and find out the correlation explanation automatically, and show itthrough a floating window. In this module, we use the technology of capturewords from screen.The technology of capture words from screen deal with a lot ofknowledge of Windows, including principle of Mouse Hook, Dynamic LinkLibrary, Memory Reflection, capture the calling function of API. The mostimportant is capturing several calling function of API including ExtTextOutA,ExtTextOutW, TextOutA, TextOutW, DrawOutA and DrawOutW and so on.In "English-Chinese-Mongolian Electronic Dictionary", we modified thedisplaying mode of Mongolian, make the Mongolian showing in its traditionalupright way.
