Construction Of English-Mongolian Electronic Dictionary And Research Of Related Technology

This thesis mainly introduced the construction of English-Mongolian electronic dictionary and research of related technology. We can query English and Mongolian word in the English-Mongolian electronic dictionary, and gain English and Mongolian word from screen. We considered a contradiction problem between memory capacity and speed of query when design the database system of English-Mongolian electronic dictionary. We used the encrypt technology on the database for privacy and security of the data.A full-scale traditional English-Mongolian dictionary book has not found in China up to now, and it is difficult to holding consistency of dictionary bewteen English-Mongolian and Mongolian-English. Therefore it is hard work and heavy complexity for us to edit such dictionary.We utilize Access database to set up two independent dictionaries, including English-Mongolian dictionary and Mongolian-English dictionary. First of all, we used English word as the key word, and then inputted the data to computer. It is a process of building English-Mongolian dictionary. Furthermore, we build Mongolian-English dictionary depend upon above-mentioned dictionary.With a view to gain English and Mongolian word from screen, it is important to capture Mongolian strings. Because gaining English and Chinese word from screen have all already been achieved.They have some different process to the string, so we must write program that gain Mongolian word from screen, in the process of gaining Mongolian word from screen, we mainly captured TextOutA, TextOutW. ExtTextOutA, ExtTextOutW, DrawTextA, DrawTextOutWfunction.Displaying Mongolian words in the computer was another difficult problem for us. We have no one perfect software that can display Mongolian words in the computer with it's characteristic untill now. Therefore we used Mongolian vertical control and TLMPack on the interface of English-Mongolian dictionary to display Mongolian words.
