Research On The Educational Practicum Environment Based On The Platform Of Moodle

Educational practicum is an important part of the teaching program in higher normal school, an important way in which student teachers can study, take pedagogy preliminary exercise and strengthen theory linking practice, an especial required course with the features of versatility, integrity, practicality, and an approach to check up and improve the quality of the teacher education as well. Yet, during the process of the educational practicum, because of the large number of student teachers, separated practice place and so on, these bring on many problems, for example, the relationship between students and teachers or students and students is loosely, it is difficult to get teaching resources, the interaction between normal school and the practice school is less.In recent years, e-learning is increasingly taken attention and accepted. Its advantages in the aspects of communication and share satisfy all requirements of users, so a variety of course management systems appear, moodle is one of these. Moodle platform is free of charge and open source, it has enough functions for users. I think, building an educational practicum environment on the web utilizing the moodle platform can resolve some problems such as inconvenient interaction during the educational practicum process.This thesis focus on founding an e-learning system based on moodle platform, integrating the system with educational practicum, and showing the advantages to the educational practicum.The thesis has five sections. Section 1 introduces the background, the question, the route, the research ways of the thesis, and defines some basic concepts. Section 2 analyzes the actuality and problems in our country and abroad of the educational practicum, gives the concept of course management system and content about moodle on the basis of the literature search. Section 3 is about building the educational practicum environment based on the moodle platform after the analysis of whether educational practicum needs e-learning environment. Section 4 tells the whole process of the educational practicum of the computer department in Shanghai Normal University, recording and analyzing the process and the results, giving the summarization. Section 5 shows the expectation about the integration of moodle and educational practicum.The result showed that, moodle takes effect in assisting educational practicum successfully, enhancing the interactive among the student teachers and sharing resources. Based on the result, I summarize the process and the strategy of the integration of moodle and educational practicum, I hope, these practice and result can bring a new thought angle for the supervisor of the normal school, develop the educational practicum better, and lay a good foundation for the teachers' specialization.
