The archives pretection technology is an subject which studys the destroy disciplinarian of archives materials and the scientific methods of pretecting archives. The errand of this technology is prolonging the avchives's life-span as long as possible. The archives material is composed by the carrier material that supports its content and the register material that reflects its content. The information register material of papery archives is named handwriting. There are two factors that affect the endurance of handwriting. One is insrinsic factor which includes the pigment's molecule configuration, its physics and chemistry quality and the link mode with paper. The other is extrinsic factor which includes those bad environment factors, such as high temperature, high humidity, illumination, oxidant, harmful gas, etc. Within those bad factors, the top three are heat, acid and ultraviolet radiation.Black is the primary color of handwriting on papery archives. A judgeing standard has been widely accepted by archives pretectation experts. From this standard, we know the most endurable black handwriting is composed by the most endurable pigment carbon black and the most endurable link mode infiltrat and filming. we also know the more endurabe black handwriting is composed by the carbon black and infiltrat which is the more endurable link mode. The least endurable black handwriting is composed by the carbon black and the least link modes agglutination and calking.With the prevalence of computer and the development of office automatization, a new handwriting of papery archives appeared, that is the black laser printerwriting, which increases on the amount. Compared with the conventional black handwriting, the black laser printerwriting has complicated elements and especial link mode, so we can't judgy its endurance easily.The are many aspects that impact the color of black writing, such as light, heat, water, acid, ete. And the color transformation can be apperceived both on the macrocosmos and microcosmic. In the macrocosmos, the color changing can be affected both on the reflectivity and the darkness value of black handwriting. All thoes changes can be measured by a spacial reverberation darkness instrument, with model FHD-1.In the microxosmic, the color changing can be affected by the chemistry bathochrome altering. All alterings of wave crest can be measured by a special infrared spectrum analyze instrument. In this article, we set carbon black ink and the prepared Chinese ink as the contrast. The aging conditions are 273nm ultraviolet radiation, 105℃high temperature and 0.1%normal concentration of vitriol. Under those experiment conditions, we compare the reflectivity (S), the darkness value and the infrared ray spectrum of the three black handwriting, then analyze their endurance. After those have done, we got those conclusions as follows:The first, the endurable of black laser printerwriting is the best. The carbon black ink is worse than the black laser printerwriting. The worst is the prepared Chinese ink. The black laser printerwriting with carbon black as its pigment, thermoplastic rosin as its main component, which links with paper by conglutinate and filming, can be classified the most endurable handwriting with prepared Chinese ink.The second, the pigment of black writing on papery archives has changed a lot. The dimension of carbon black becomes smaller, the configuration of crystalloid is very complex, the water-fast character, the acid-resistant character and the unoxgenation of handwriting improve greatly. By the way, its links with paper isn't simply the filming, the infiltrat and the conglutinate. Mulriple link mode appeared. So the above judgeing standard must be amended.The last, as we all know, the component of carbon black ink is very simple, Its stabilization of ultraviolet radiation and high temperature is very well. After the aging, the darkness value of handwriting changes a little. Furthermore, the stabilization of acid is good. After aging under acid for 96hours, the darkness value changes unobviously. In people's mind, the water-fast quality of all ink is bad. But from this experiment, after dipping in water for 7 days, there is no pervasion, so we can say higy quality carbon black ink can be also attached to the most endurable handwriting.
