Research And Application On Dynamic Detection And Recognition System Of Label Based On Vision

Optical character recognition(OCR) is a hotspot of machine vision, and it has a comprehensive foreground of applications. Firstly, the basic theory and development status of machine vision is introduced in this paper. Secondly, the design technique for different part of machine vision system is discussed according to the system's logical structure. And then, the dynamic detection and recognition system of label based on vision of the project named"PL-1000A packing producing line"was turned to reality with the design technique's guidance and put into operation successfully in the PL-1000A packing producing line system. The main research works are as follows:The working principles of OCR system are introduced and its normal methods are analyzed in this paper. The particular specifications and feasibility of label dynamic detection and recognition system are analyzed and demonstrated comprehensively according to the practical requirements. The framework of the label dynamic detection and recognition system is put forward, and then the design of main hardware is introduced.According to the motion-blur problem in label dynamic image acquisition, a correspondence restoration method is introduced in detail to improve the quality of input image. An image pre-processing procedure is discussed to resolve the arbitrary placement of label, the character region segmentation and single character segmentation such a series problems according to the label specifications.The methods of digits identification have been analyzed based on the basis theory of image identification technology, aiming at the problem which possibly exist conglutination between digits in label and digit structure exist deformity when printing, this article putted forward the method which the digits outline characteristic and statistical characteristic combined, it not only overcome many problems but also can realize accurately identification of digits of many kinds of typefaces, and enhanced the identification speed at the same time.The integration of the PL-1000A packing producing line system with label dynamic detection and recognition is introduced from the hardware and software aspects. To reduce the miss-recognition ratio, some corresponding ways are discussed and found by many experiments. All of these works guarantee that the application of the dynamic detection and recognition system of label is successful.
