Several athletes have a game in the athletic field, the circle number of each athlete marching always depends on several umpires noting. Like that, not only we waste manpower but also mistakes easily appear. It is possible to realize with the quick development of the RFID identified technique. This paper is established in the automatic circle-counting system of the gymnastic game, studying the collection and transmission of data. A method is pointed to compose the system, which uses the RFID, wireless transmission technology and embedded microprocessor to collect, deal with and transfer the data, in order to realize counting the leaps of each athlete marching automatically. The following five parts are to be done.1. Firstly, how to use RFID technology to realize gathering data of athletes.2. Build wireless network to realize communications basing on embedded microprocessor.3. Constitute communication protocol for the wireless network. It contains the fields of ports, channel definition, package identifiers, data and wrong code to check. Prescribe the way of transferring data of going in a net, data transmission, out of net, thoroughfare repeal, mistake instauration and disposal.4. Introduce the basic physical ports to realize connecting. For example, there are the RS-485,232 and parallel ports.5. Finally, finish the design and execution of the whole system by debugging, testing and amending the system. Realize reading the RF cards and displaying the LED spare leaps steadily, connecting them by wireless network. We have already obtained a certain result. Because the system is huge, there are still some follow-up works to complete to make the system more perfect.
