Radio Frequency Identification(RFID)is a new technology of automatic identification, It uses the technology of radio frequency to identify the object in the mode of non-touch bidirectional communication. Contrast to the traditional identification mode, the RFID technology can accomplish the information's input and deal with do not need direct touch or optics eyeable or artificially intervention. And it has the advantages of easy operation, mass storage, well secrecy, quick response, strong adaptability. It can widely apply in the fields of production, circulation, traffic, transportation, medical treatment, fake defend, track, equipment and asset management which need data collect and deal with.Many field competitions such as middle-distance race,foot race in nowadays gym match, the results of athletes is mainly through manual work, it is not only need a lot of judges, but also easy to make mistake. Using RFID technology to design a system which count circles and time which fit to that gym match. Not only can save resources and avoid mistake, but also it can make the game information management more systematization and more real time.This design is mainly involved of information theory, RF technology, antenna technology, computer science, microelectronics, and electromagnetic compatible technology and etc. In order to accelerate the designing speed and achieve the expected function of the system, we adopted a modularization design. On the introduce of the RFID technology and other basic theories regarding the system design, we detach the system into several independent modules but which are related in the whole, define the function of each modules and present the realization scheme, and finally gave the whole design including software and hardware which comprised of reader and electronic tag based on MSP430.
