This paper mainly study the power for hydrogen manufacture by electrolysis based onATmega128. Produced hydrogen is been used to cool off generating set. Its key control elementsof trigger and regulator are hotspots of research in power electronics field.Firstly, this paper point out that the control system of the power for hydrogen manufacturethat is produced by the domestic some manufacturers adopt combination of analogous circuit anddigital circuit. Because decentrality of element parameter and waveform aberration ofsynchronous voltage can lead to inconsistent of phase shift characteristic of every trigger,lowreliability and bad triggering precision. Other manufacturers use phase-locked loop electric circuit inthe power for hydrogen manufacture to obtain the synchronized signal. since the phase-locked loopelectric circuit have some limitation being such as slow response speed,open loop gain notconstant etc. these have some influence to the reliability of triggering control circuit and the triggeringprecision.Then, to direct toward these deficiencies , the digital PID and the singlechip were applied tocomplete thyristor firing in this project. A party of ten A/D is applied to sample signal. Theexecution of control program (5ms) is shorter than the adjustment cycle of trigger signal (20ms)via the instruction system of single machine cycle that ATmega128 provide in the design oftriggering control program,and the real time of control system is enhanced. Singlechiprecognizes synchronized signal according as rising edge trigger signal that the converting circuitof TTL level output. These measures contributed greatly to raising the reliability of triggercontrol system and triggering precision.Secondly, the paper suggests that modbus communication protocol is used between LCDand singlechip in the prototype machine in order to debug device at site and observe someimportant data..Lastly, the mathematic model of components of main circuit and control circuit is built. Thesoftware matlab is applied to simulate all system. The simulation result compares with the exa--mining result argues that the system resolved the problems that the dissociation character ofcomponent parameter caused bad triggering precision and firing thyristor at the wrong moment;Remove influenced by the environment and temperature, the undulation of electrical current wh--ile operation, as well as bring the system to create zero drift which is insuppressible. It guaran--tees the security and reliability of the hydrogen manufacturing.
