Research And Implement Of Mobile Agent-based Routing Optimization System

Nowadays in mobile and wireless networks environment, MobileIP is the preferred standard in supporting host mobility among severalstandards. However, several problems are not yet well resolved, such asthe prominent problem of triangular routing. This paper presents a routingagent architecture to solve this problem. The advantage of the architectureis to intercept datagrams earlier and determine to tunnel the incomingpacket or not, and reduce packet's routing length.This routing agent iscalled Middle Mobility Agent(MMA).This article summarily introduces mobile IP and relevant technologyclosely related to this scheme at first,and then carries on detaileddescription,analysis and design to this scheme.Finally, realizes this schemetentatively, utilizing existing equipment of laboratory, under the enviromentof Linux,and utilizes NS to imitate and test this scheme.Experimental results show that the architecture can indeedly shortenthe roundabout path of the messages and reduce the delay time to themessages, then better resolve the triangular routing problem.This article combines the Middle Mobolity Agent technology with IPtechnology to solve mobile IP route optimazation problem for the first time,this is the feature of innovation of this article.
