Research And Establishment Of Two Levels Model Based On Transaction Workflow

At present, the research and application on workflow technic is still at the start stage in our country, although many researchers had already did the work from the different angle to the workflow management and its correlative technology , but, many essential technologies of the related research and application of workflow management is also at the explorative stage. Along with the environment complication, the workflow needs the stability, the reliability.But the transaction management provides the form which concurrent and the error defeat processes to guarantee its accuracy, therefore transaction model may apply to the workflow to enhances the reliability. The present realization way is trying to mapping transaction model which to the definition of workflow, or introducing the new advanced transaction model to satisfy the request of complex workflow application .However the workflow transaction processing frequently relies on the specific application, therefore we need an independent model to the subsistent model to define transaction attributes. How can we unify the workflow technology and transaction processes, and enhances the stability and there liability of workflow system, is precisely the starting point which this article studies.The people proposed many Advanced Transaction Model based on the traditional transaction model, and hope to apply the Advanced Transaction Model to the long time proceeding distribut workflow management. But, many Advanced Transaction Model structures are all limited, the massive research indicated, regardless of the workflow management system apply the traditional transaction model, or directly uses Advanced Transaction Model is not feasible. The existing WFMS product basically has not applied any Advanced Transaction Model, only a few prototype system has applied Advanced Transaction Model. Thereupon the people put forward the concept of transactional workflow (transactional workflow) based on the research to the Advanced Transaction Model. That means the work flow also has transactional attribut, we can manage the workflow according to its transactional attribut . This article elaborated a two levels transaction model in the transactional workflow consulted the Advanced Transaction Model, solves some shortcomings in traditional transaction model in the certain degree.In this paper we analysis the diference between the transactionin W fMS an d traditional transaction, advanced transaction. Based on the analysis we concluded what is the most importantand difficult in the transaction processing in WfMS. With the conclusion,a WfMS model with transactional feature was proposed.To make the work flowm anagement system to be more reliable and robust, in the model,we keep the atomicity and isolation of the transaction management, but we propose relaxes atomicity of the long transaction, and propose the concept of transaction sphere for this. In addition, we propose a recover and reexecute transaction model based on a two levels log, its goal is for guarantee transaction sphere has relaxed atomicity,In the transaction sphere we provide the rules for transaction recovery to guarantee the workflow process be correct and consistent.We expect that our work will do some help in the Transactional Workflow Management System on both scientific and utility aspect.
