As an advanced technology, agent has its distinguished attraction in the distributed information system. By making use of various characteristics of agent, simple, adaptive and uniform solution can be provided to the network mobile calculation. E-business is built on the basis of the network, and along with its incessant development, corporations must have more advanced solution in order to be more competitive. So agent is made to be a mainstream technology in the application of e-business.The scientific research background of this thesis is: 2004 China Tourism Destination Marketing System (DMS) of China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) and Beijing Natural Foundation Project (4042012). On the basis of distributed artificial intelligence (DAI) and agent technology, we used the Tourism Information Program of the China Tourism Administration as the application object and made the study on the application of agent technology in the distributed China Tourism Destination Marketing System.The main work and innovation points in the thesis are as follows: (1) built the e-business agency platform of DMS on the basis of Agent, and based on that, built the e-business trading model, defined all kinds of agents and gave the e-business trading working flow in DMS. (2) Put forth and implemented the improved association rule clustering algorithm, analyzed the veracity of the algorithm and the generation of rule quantity of the algorithm, as well as the efficiency of it. (3) built and implemented the distributed intelligent information push and pull (IIPP) model based on agent in the e-business trading platform ,defined all kinds of agents used to implement IIPP and analyzed the distributed information push and pull.The research fruit has been successfully applied to Tourism Information Program of CNTA. It facilitated the combination of information technology and tourism and made contribution to the successful development of Tourism Information Program of CNTA. The research fruit of the thesis has won the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Prize.
