On The Evolution Of The Role Of The TV Program Compere In China

With the development of TV and TV program, TV program comperegrows up gradually for the purpose of realizing more powerful transmitfunction in TV medium. The appearance of TV program compere turnsthe passiveness into the personification and individuation in the way ofinformation transmit, and makes up the shortage of images, which is goodat transmitting visual information, but unskilled in transmittingnonobjective information. In different stage, TV program compere acts asdifferent "role", such as host, anchor, moderator, and etc. The TVprogram compere, as disseminator, is the most basal and important tachein the chain of information transmission. The evolution of the role of theTV program compere can embody richly the evolution of informationtransmission. Therefore, studies on the evolution of the role of the TVprogram compere are highly necessary and significative in understandingthe evolvement law of TV media and predicting its evolutional direction.In this thesis, the evolution of the role of TV program compere wascharacterized in time and logic sequence. Inthe first chapter, I discusseddetailedly the history and four typical stages, the actuality and evolutionaldirection of of TV program compere in China, as well as the explorationand innovation in the evolution of "role" of some famous TV programcompere for the purpose of describing the evolution of the role of TVprogram compere in time sequence. In the second chapter, the causationfor the evolution of the role of TV program compere has been analyzedfrom different points of view, such as the effect of politics, economyreforming, culture, object of information transmitting, theory ofinformation transmission and TV media itself on the idea of news. In thethird chapter, the opportunities and challenges the TV program competesin China have to be up against in the future were discussed. I discussed the effect of WTO and local culture on the evolution of the role of TVprogram compere. At the same time, I also predict the evolution directionof the role of the compere in this chapter. In summary, by analyzing theevolution of the role of TV program compere, I hope the result willenlighten the studies and practices of TV program compere in the future.
