| The emergence of smart home meets the demands of people for more comfortable live condition. Nowadays smart home has become a research hot spot. Network is the foundation of smart home. Several kinds of home control network technologies have been used. But all of them have some deficiencies in home control. The ZigBee is a very low-cost, very low power consumption, two-way, wireless communications standard. The intended market space of applications using the ZigBee standard is home control, building automation and industrial automation. The research on ZigBee in home control network can provide some guides for future home control network application.The application of ZigBee in home control network is investigated in this work. The new address assignment algorithm and the new network node authentication mechanism have been improved. Firstly this paper summarizes some home control network technologies and some short distance wireless communication technologies which could be used in home control network, and analyses their characteristics. Secondly the paper summarizes the structure and function of layers of ZigBee and analyses the main characteristics of ZigBee. Thirdly the paper analyses the application of ZigBee in home control network, improves the address assignment algorithm of ZigBee and a kind of network node authentication mechanism based on secure MCU. Lastly the ZigBee home control network node based on Freescale demo board is designed and the code of network node based on Freesclae MAC/PHY library is programmed. |
