Design And Application Of Mobile Email System In Telecom Access Platform

Nowadays 3G standards are developing vigorously and a lot of applications are emerging. Email system is the information exchange of Internet, and mobile email service is accelerated by the convergence of telecom and Internet. Mobile email service is an extension and seamless combination of Internet email, which supports sending and receiving email by mobile phone.Based on such a background, this paper proposes the design and application of mobile email system in telecom access platform. The design of this system is a complement of current mobile email system, it cuts down net traffic and fee, which is very convenient to use.This paper first describes the development of email, analyzes its future. Next is the introduction of its protocols, explanation of Blackberry's network structure, service process and study of push principle and Presence's message flow. Then, mail client software platform is implemented based on the Telecom Access Platform, which provides condition for the design of the system. The emphasis of this paper is the design of mobile email system, therefore, the paper analyzes some key techniques such as Presence, Push, PAP protocol, and gives the decision server's design and part of realization. At the end, from the view of system modularization design, the paper illuminates the system structure as well as every module, gives the analysis the process of mail receiving and sending, put forward the core thinking and design method of the mobile email system.
