The technology of wireless communication has been changing with each passing day, since the wireless communication came true. The main technology of the second generation mobile communication includes the European mobile communication standard GSM and the American mobile communication standard CDMA. The main technology of the third generation mobile communication includes three standards: WCDMA, CDMA2000, TS-SCDMA. However it is so regret that the second generation and the third generation standards can not communicate well and be not compatible with each other. So the customers can not be provided convenience to communication. The problem will be worked out well by the coming up with of the concept of software radio. The concept of the software radio is that a standard, fractional and open hardware platform can be built. Then the various communication system can be loaded into the hardware platform by the sky interface with the software, so the various communication system can be compatible.The paper is based on a lot of literatures and relative design schemes. An experimental platform, which is used in the digital signal fields, has been designed based on the concept of software radio with the structure of DSP+CPLD. And a lots experiments have been designed based on the reverse linker of the narrow band CDMA with this platform. DSP can gather data and calculate as the core CPU, and the CPLD can provide address distribution and controlling signals as the peripheral circuit.The scheme, design and debug of the hardware circuit and the realization of the relative algorithms of the traffic channels of the reverse linker in narrow band CDMA have been accomplished mainly in this paper. In detail, the circuit diagrams, parameters, programs of the interface control ,the results of debug of the hardware and the flow dialog of the relative algorithms have been given in this paper. The hardware platform can not only be a special experimental equipment for teaching the mobile communication, on which the relative digital signal algorithms of the CDMA communication system can be displayed, but also be a universal and open experimental equipment , on which the experimenters can learn how to use the DSP and CPLD and develop various algorithms.The concept of the software radio has been spreading and the methods renew. It provides effective schemes for development and compatibility for wireless communication.
