Web Interface Design In Terms Of Visual Information Transmission

Only the transmission of information can let human-beings constantly learn and know the world in order to realize the communication and cooperation between different groups of people. Therefore, how to make the information more concentrative, more rational and more effective became a hot issue in modern society.As a new media of public information, web interface can synthetically utilize files, images, music, cartoon and video to transfer the content of any kind of information. It has abundant features of representation and interaction of multi-media resources.The design of web interface is totally different from the regular graphic design based on its special characters, which means it has its own designing style. The theme of web interface design should always be information transmission. In recent years, the transmitting information is mostly visual information. That is to say, web interface design should actually be categorized in the field of visual communication and the primary visual elements and designing golden rules should follow the common regulations of visual communication. The job of web interface designer is to transmit information clearly, nicety and effectively by using attractive visual art representing methods.There are lots of ways which can promote the effect of information transmission. The thesis constructs a model of information transmission in web interface by using the particular features and basic theories of web interface design. Based on people's visual physiological and psychological reaction towards information, it mainly analyzes people's manner about information management and respectively discusses the transferring and receiving process of web interface design. Also, this thesis uses a more intuitionistic method to conclude common rules of the visual information in web interface including words, images, colors and formats. By analyzing the existing web interface products, the thesis researches some conflicting issues about modern web interface design and finally gives some useful advices and suggestions to solve the puzzles. At the end of the thesis, it also combines the positive effects of some outstanding former designing cases in order to discuss a more effective way to improve the quality of web interface design.
