With recent performance advancements in computer technologies and wireless communications technologies, advanced mobile wireless computing is expected to see increasingly widespread use and application. And the mobile Ad hoc network is receiving increasing attention from all lines due to its characters without network administration and infrastructure. Various routing protocols that are tailored to Ad hoc networks have been put up in recent years by researchers around the world, and related analyses are being done from different aspects. For the limit of the bandwidth and energy of the mobile Ad hoc network, how to balance the payload and improve the validity of the routing has become the main targets of the evaluating the routing protocol performance. This thesis firstly introduces some routing protocols of Ad hoc networks in existence. According to the characteristics of Ad hoc networks and routing protocols, then analyses and simulates them used by NS, on the basis of this model for different networks, different scenes and different mobile nodes on the table-driven routing protocol (DSDV), a demand-driven routing protocol (DSR,AODV) simulation. The simulation results prepared to deal with their own procedures to influence network routing agreement on packet delivery fraction, average delay, routing expense in end-lapse, three parameters routing load indicators analysis. The results showed a higher demand for real-time table-driven agreement to use appropriate occasions, and on the quality of data and network bandwidth requirements occasions should be used with strict demand-driven routing agreement. We analyze detailed the conditional Ad hoc networks routing protocols in terms of the low rate of the path use, high routing expense energy control and low network lifetime. Then we develop and evaluate one technique based on DSR and propose a new routing protocol which is called Lifetime-forecast Multi-path Routing. The scheme utilizes the power drain rate and predicts the lifetime of links, finds some effective paths and sends data through these links. The simulation result shows that the protocol is superior to DSR in lifetime of network, throughput and end to end delay .It can finds some longest lifetime paths to delivery , reduces the delay of end to end and improve the throughput end to end averagely. When the CBR rate is up, the average is very likely to throughput can up to 20% than DSR. All above shows that it offers better performance results than the previous protocols, also it can delivery in multi-path.
