The building of the Electronic Port shows a startling rise in China.At the moment, the building model of the Electronic Port is explored.In this background,a bran-new Port System is trying to be builded by NingBo Electronic Port.It is purpose of satisfying the requirement which can realize the information exchange among enterprises and quickening the speed of passing the Customs in the local foreign trade. Faced to so great system,it is necessary to study and analyze the system synthetically. Then,we are going to realize it step by step.The whole Port System is based on information resource,and subsequently applications can be built.So the building of data system must be put in an important position in the whole system's building.This thesis takes the Port Data System as a subject,then studies and analyses it sufficiently.Research results are gained as follows:1.In the aspect of the model of the data storage,this thesis compares the advantages and disadvantages of NAS and SAN.When aimed at the defects of using NAS and SAN respectively,the thesis puts forward a merged NAS and SAN solution which takes apart the controlling unit and storage unit of NAS and joins by SAN's FC network.Then,it can make data to reach the effects of centralizing storage,convenient access and backup.Lastly,Two measures are be adopted for improving the reliability of SAN storage.2.In the aspect of the database design of Message Exchange System,the thesis gives the thinking of using XML-middle messages,and puts forward the solution for taking the XML-middle message as a basic storage unit to store into Oracle XML DB which can deal with XML documents powerfully.Then,the thesis makes the model's design for the database of Message Exchange System.3.In the aspect of the database design of Logistics System,by studying the CCTS and UBL,the thesis puts forward the solution of data modeling based on UBL.It is useful to reducing the complexity of data modeling and database design.Then,the thesis makes the brief design for the database of Logistics System based on above UBL model.This thesis's work has been succeed in the building of data system in NingBo Electronic Port and may be considered in providing the reference for the building of data system in other Electronic Port.
