Research And Application Of Heterogeneous Database Integration Based On MAS And XML

Database integrating is the need of coordination and cooperation among every system of enterprises or every department in enterprises. Its goal is to realize the share of data between each heterogeneous data source, so that it can utilize resources effectively and improve the performance of the whole application system. With the appearance of the requirement for distributed processing and the full speed of Internet information network, the present network information system has put forward higher requirement for the efficiency of data interaction, the balance of systematic load, the security of data interaction and the transplantation between heterogeneous platform, thus the Database Middleware is becoming the focus.There is theory study about applying Agent into Middleware, yet few study into Database Middleware. Referring to Agent feature, this article brings out an Agent-based heterogeneous databases integrating model. It tells about Agent feature, Agent's architecture, MAS organization, MAS theory model, the communication and cooperation between Agents, every Agent in system, encapsulation KQML with XMI, and connection pool's realization, etc. This model has done some improvement to the general middleware system on the efficiency of data interaction, visit of database and database load balance. It makes data processing and transmit more intelligent, and can improve systematic adaptability, and simplifies the design, realizing and maintaining of the system, and also makes the realization of distributed system more easier, more high-efficiently; Some Agent in the system is responsible for a part of management that will lighten the administrator's burden; After decomposing the demands of users in the system, implementing the sub task in relevant Agents, by communicating, coordinating and cooperating among Agents to solve the task that the system demands to completion , it has simplified the complexity of the question.Contraposing the situation that the information integrated level and intelligence intensity caused by heterogeneous system's existing is not very compatible in intelligent building, we introduce Agents into the system integration of intelligent building to solve these problems. We apply the integrated model to the system integration of intelligent building, narrate and analyze the database integrated model's application in intelligent building, and have imitated and tested the alarming inquiry system of intelligent building. By testing and experimenting, we have compared the characteristic of Agent-based database integration with the general database integration.
