Virtual Laboratory appear with the development of computer technique and Virtual Instrument technique As a new experiment method, the Virtual Experiment is out of the limits of time and space, and it has superiority that the Traditional Experiment doesn't have, it has a wide application prospect. As a kind of new teaching modes of experiment, the virtual laboratory is an outcome of the information ages, and it has the vast applied foreground in the realm of education and research , it is a new development direction of the experiment teaching. The development of the long range virtual laboratory system can overcome the shortage of the quantity and quality of the experiment instrument and the limit of experiment place and lesson number, and it can make full use of the instrument resources and make limited funds exert larger function. Therefore, the development of the virtual Laboratory. The built of VI and VL, involved in the design of learn method and surrounding scene and the construct of analytical model, is a complicated process. Based on the thorough research of the VI and VL, the practical work of "chromatograph VI and VL", whose prototype is college-level chromatograph experiment, is built by using Java3D technique.. On the basis of chromatographic theory and real experimental processes, real time interactive virtual GC and LC instruments and virtual lab are built with Action Script program.In this paper, a set of chemistry VL has been constructed through there alization of the above systems. In the VI, the whole experiment processes with vivid scene have been simulated, and each kind of simulated operation could be done according to actual experimental operation. Moreover it has so strong function of data processing that it can deepen understandings of the experiment process and the corresponding chemistry theories. It has widely practical prospect in the operation training of the chemistry experiments and the study of experiment curriculums.Finally, the whole thesis is summarized. Further development and research directions are discussed.
