Digital Beam Forming (DBF) technique has been widely researched in modern radar and communication systems. This thesis is focused on the study of DBF algorithms in the field of Smart Antenna, in which its development history, working principle and theory, typical DBF rules and algorithms is described, and one realization by QRD-LS algorithm with CORDIC technology and Systolic Array is analyzed in detail.The main work includes,1. LMS and RLS adaptive algorithm are analyzed and compared with each other. RLS algorithm is proved to have a better convergence property and stability.2. A new systolic space filtering processor based on complex QRD-LS algorithm with CORDIC technology is proposed in the article. This new structure is also applied to the split-LS systolic algorithm.
