The receiver is the most important part of radar system.The traditional analog technology can't meet the requirement of the modern war. Thus, it is a necessary trend to study the technology for digitalization.As a major module of digital receiver, signal parameter estimation is the follow-up treatment behind signal detection, which has played an important part in the receiver system. Under this precondition, the dissertation discusses the frequency estimation algorithm of sinusoidal signal based on frequency offset correcting. First, FFT is used to estimate coarse frequency, and the base band signal is obtained by using digital down conversion technology. Then, a phase difference is performed on the base signal vector to compute frequency offset. Finally, the fine result is gotten by correcting the offset of coarse frequency, the performance of which is improved. Simulation result demonstrates that this method based on frequency offset correcting can not only be easily realized with low computation complexity, but also has good frequency stability.In addition, parameters estimation algorithm for other signals (such as LFM, BPSK, QPSK signals, etc) mainly make use of auto-correlation method and some other simple methods which require high signal to noise ratio (SNR) condition. Through more deeply analysised and compared with each other, simulation results confirm that those algorithms are valid.SNR estimation in chapter three is a pretreatment for the following work. Because, in many cases, knowing the size of SNR, intelligent methods can be used to judge the method adopted to deal with specific follow-up questions to get the best performance.Hard implementation of parameter estimation in digital receiver system is another study subject.Using the development board (P36N) based on four TS-101 DSPs as hardware platform, this paper realizes the signal parameter estimation algorithm with C and Assembly languages, and this module confines the pulse signals to four common radar signals. At last, DSP's final results indicate that the work is effective and coincident with the project design requirements.
